Gettin' out the vote!
YAY!
I'm tingling. I didn't expect this feeling, but there they are-- goosebumps.
I took Alex and Sam with me to witness the electoral process. As I was filling out the ballot, the booth started shaking and my lines started to get more and more crooked. Alex was goofing off with Sam and causing the booth to wiggle. If my vote doesn't count, can I blame it on my three year old?
After dinner, the boys were watching CNN/MSNBC with their dad. Every time a state showed up blue, they'd parade through the kitchen shouting, "OH-BAH-MA! OH-BAH-MA!"
We have a long road ahead of us-- the acceptance speech at Grant Park was just inspiring. Something we hadn't had in a while.
I wonder how much the boys will remember from this historic night.

HI ERIN!
Great to see you too. We ARE getting old. Congrats on the family. We did the exact same thing last night. Aggie was standing on the couch chanting OBAMA. We colored in all the states with stickers and had a grand time watching history being made.
I'm adding you to my reader so I'll see what you are up to in the future.
Let's see if I can keep my blog updated!!! :) I'm impressed that you have THREE!!!
